Viva LAs VegaStamps! monthly challenge: The greater the storm

I'm a little late for posting for this months Viva Las VegaStamps! inspiration board challenge. It was all about bright bold colors. For me that meant taking out the  few Dylusions paints I have and play in my junk mail art journal that I made.

I used the Bubble gum pink Dylusions paint. This paint was one from a bad batch, its a little think, but wanted to use it up. Then I used Vibrant Turquoise Dylusions paint with the Wheelie mask from UmWowStudio. I used a polka dot stencil from Heidi Swap with the Crushed Grape Dylusion paint. The last stencil I used was brick type stencil that a friend cut out for me. with Americana Citron Gren.

Once dried I stamped the Sky of stars background on the page. I stamped Banksy Rain under umbrella on to the page, then on a piece of white cardstock. cut the girl and the umbrella out and glued them on the page. I stamped Banksy Girl Floating with Balloons on tissue paper and glued her on with Matte Medium.

On scrap cardstock I stamped out the sentiment "The Greater your Storm..." Before putting it on the page. I took the cut Grass dylusion spray and splattered it on the page. I then stamped single star a few times on the page. I then cut out the words apart in the sentiment and glued them on the page. I took my black Stabilo All pencil and went around the words.  The last thing I did I took a Gelato in Metallic Icing  and went around the page with it. I then took my finger to smooth it out.

Inspiration Conspiracy video hop

Like I said in my last blog post. I've been a bad blogger. I have been concentration on my YouTube channel.

Earlier this year Shannon Green messaged me if I wanted to participate in the 2nd quarter of inspiration conspiracy YouTube video hop. Of course I said yes. The hop is design to help smaller YouTube channels grow. there was 13 of us, 3 were establish channels with. Starting out I had about over 600 (I forget the number I had before the hop.)

If you have or haven't been to my channel before. When I first started I was mostly a show and tell type. Back then I didn't have room for a set up for doing process videos(I had a small table that my computer was on and not much room for much room for arting, but I managed), and didn't know if I could do them with my digital. Then late last year or early this year, I decided to take the plunge and try doing a process video. And been doing them ever since.

So anyway.... I had no idea what I wanted to do for my project for the hop. The main rule for the hop was the video had to be 10 minutes or under. ACK!  I just decided to make whatever and see if it will work. I did a couple of things and they went long, even with editing out drying times, and speeding up the video. But alas I did a page that was under 10 minutes and that was with pictures! I wanted to d a voice over with this video, but I wasn't happy with the audio, so I stuck to the music.

My subbies was already growing a little before the hop due to the ICAD videos I was doing everyday. but with the hop it grew a lot. I think grew 40 or 50 new subbies. My channel is still growing. Today I'm at 783 or 784 it goes back and forth. My goal is to get 1,000 by the end of the year. At the time of the hop I  was hoping to get 1,000 at the end of the hop, Okay I was dreaming there. lol I think there a lot more opportunities with channels with over 1,000 subbies, Well, no not think, I know there are. and I hope to get to take part in those opportunities sooner than later. :)

Okay enough babbling. :) here is the page I did for the hop and below is the video I did for the hop. Thank you Shannon for asking me to take part!

ICAD 50 -60

I've been a bad blogger. The past few months I've been concentrating on my youtube channel. I had did videos on almost all the ICADS this year. I don't know if I'll do that again. It wasn't so much the editing, it was more of the camera. As I stated before on my youtube videos,I shoot all my videos on my digital camera. So when I do videos I sometimes have to stop and unload the sd card or stop and recharge the camera, Which can be a pain when your in the mood to film a bunch of videos in a day. and then you don't feel like doing any more filming after the battery is charged up. When doing the ICADS I sometimes did 3 or 4 in a day, edit them and then scheduled them for the day. it gave me and my camera a breather from filming everyday.

Here are the rest of the ICADS
